Beeing next to Shalom Meir Tower, and one step from the Rotschild 1 louxerious residence building, gives you the perfect spot for your visit in Tel-Aviv. Here in Villa Vilina we have kept the original style of living in Neve Tzedek the way it use to be, before the bourgeoisie age. We are offering both modern accomodation in the very heart of the big city, and we are also offering quiet Oasis. Villa Vilina have not been born as an apartment hotel.
Infact the building itself has an interesting history when in 1946 it was actualy the headquarters of the Lehi (a Zionist paramilitary organization founded by Avraham ("Yair") Stern in Mandatory Palestine. "Fighters for the Freedom of Israel – Lehi") And In this building they made the first attempts to manufacture Explosive materials and were hiding here weapon.
The explosive and the weapon were used by the fighters in all their activities around Israel and from here the weapon was transferred to save and protect Jerusalem during the Independence war.
Today Villa Vilina is an Apartment hotel. Unique and original place which remain authentic to what the neighborhood was before it turned into shining little Paris.
